Show Vehicles Terms and Conditions

Showcase Arena Terms and Conditions:

1. A completed booking form must be submitted. Closing date (space permitting) is 1st June 2026.
2. Applications are judged independently. Successful applicants will be issued with relevant information on displaying their vehicle (times, gates info etc, prior to the festival)
3. Any vehicle arriving at the venue without their Vehicle Pass will be directed to the public car park.  The vehicle must be located within the confines of the allocated area in accordance with the instructions of the parking marshalls.
4. Passenger/s arriving on the day along with yourself can pay on arrival on the day at the show vehicle gate. However, this must be in cash only as we will not have c/card facitlities at the exhibitor gates. If they choose to pay by card, your passenger/s will be directed to the public entry gate to purchase them. The public gate opens at 10am.
5. Vehicles may be searched on arrival at the venue for any forbidden items.
6. The Scottish Festival of Motoring, and any staff acting on their behalf, reserves the right to refuse admission.
7. No obscene material and/or display material and/or behaviour which could cause offence to anyone will be allowed.
8. The distribution of leaflets is strictly forbidden. No promotional material may be distributed or displayed on any of the vehicles. Your vehicle has been accepted on the grounds that it had not been modified to display livery at the festival. Reasonable sized sun strips are ok, however if in doubt, please contact us. Failure to comply will result in your car being turned away or being asked to leave the festival and you will only be allowed to enter again after 5pm to collect your vehicle. The distribution of commercial leaflets is strictly forbidden.
9. You are responsible for the cleanliness around your vehicle and all rubbish must be placed in the rubbish bins provided.
10. Generators are NOT allowed on the site inside. BBQ’s are not permitted.
11. Scottish Festival of Motoring is a private event and as such filming is restricted to non-commercial photography (still or moving pictures). Any photos taken or filming done remains the copyright of Scottish Festival of Motoring and as such by attending the event you agree that any and all photos/film be used by Scottish Festival of Motoring at any time without further communication. Commercial photography/filming for profit is forbidden without prior written consent and a fee paid.
12. The Scottish Festival of Motoring or RHC will not be responsible in any way for the loss or damage to an Indvidual Exhibitor vehicle or their property howsoever caused and assumes all risk and danger incidental to the event whether occurring prior to, during or subsequent to the actual event; including personal injury, loss, damage or liability
13. The Scottish Festival of Motoring is a static festival, no vehicles permitted to move during festival times.
14.No glass bottles, jars etc allowed on site. Any glass will be confiscated.
15. Dogs are permitted on site, however must be kept on a lead at all times.
16. No independent sound systems are allowed on site.
17. Medical assistance can be found at the foyer area, located in the main Highland Hall.
18. Security will be on site at all times throughout the event to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable time. Their instructions must be followed at all times. Please contact them in any emergency.
19. No fireworks, chinese lanterns or aerial drones are permitted anywhere throughout festival.
20. The Scottish Festival of Motoring reserves the right to vary or amend these rules at any time without prior notice and to remove any visitor from site who does not observe these rules.
21. By including your vehicle to take part at the festival, an image of your vehicle may be photographed and be included in any part of our website, promotional material and social media platforms.
22. Scottish Festival of Motoring reserve the right to change or amend the date or venue of the event, due to reasons beyond their control.
23. Scottish Festival of Motoring reserves the right to alter the show content at short notice.
24. By submitting your application, we will conclude that you and any passengers have agreed to the terms set out.
